HELLO EARTH.
i'm back.
so did you miss me?
i bet you did didn't you? well guess what! i didn't have enough time to miss you in NZ if you missed me! coscoscos, NZ WAS SMASHING FUN.
tsktsk. kay lah don't cry. i did miss you ooooooooookay. (shit man, liars go to hell.)
Outdoor Pursuit Centre was more than anything i could ask for. we had instructors that cared for us with all their hearts - Robyn and Dan. i may not be close to Dan, since he's in charge of the other team, and our team hardly had time to interact with him. but well, i do know he's one hell of a great instructor. :D
Robyn Robyn Robyn! it's like a one in a trillionzillionmillion chance for you to read this, but i would just like to say a big Thank You out to you from me for all the times you took care of us - teaching us to track uphills, to fight cold, to learn to plan before we do stuff (LOL), andandand to care for each other more than ourselves! i love you Robyn, and it's not bcos of the fact that your name is spelt in the same pattern as mine. :D (the Ys replaces the Is)
TEAM TWOOOOOOO.
you guys are like, so cool lah! (Zakish) HAHA. i will miss every single one of you man. we started out as strangers, and ended up being crazy joking buddies over the dinner table, ended up being helpful hands to people tracking behind us.. we ended up as the greatest team that conquered the mountain! (ha, fat hope).
kay lah enough of me
haolian-ing. we're just one great united team that's even better than perfect. (:
Weirong.i can't say i don't know you well before this trip, but at least i got to spend more time with you during these nine days.. sitting together in the bus staring at the greenary with our MP3 plugged on our ears, as the same thought of misery leaving OPC runs through both of our minds. you're one little tough girl. you took a bag that weighed the same 16kg as mine for the overnight expedition, when you're only half my size. i'm proud of you XIAO DE! muaha. thanks for helping me up, keeping me entertained with me suaning you, and just being there for me when i needed you to. THANK YOU.
Amalina.YO PEEING BUDDY. i got to know you SO MUCH better during this trip lah. we used to go just hi and bye in school when we met occasionally along the corridors; but this trip seriously gave me the chance to talk to you like a real friend man. for all the times you woke me up and troubled me just to make me accompany you to go pee, I FORGIVE YOU. aha. bcos you're so nice, so funny, so generous to the fact that you allowed me to play around with your wax with my super failed attempt to spike my hair! you've been a great partner in the mission to bully Mr Singa too man. lol. love you peeing buddy. don't lose this bond we have.
Jevonne.dearest roommate, i swear you're the one that's most patient with me. you put up with my nonsense of untidiness, waking me up every morning since the alarm clock seems to only work for you, and listening to me every night blabbering before i can finally fall asleep. and there was once when i refused to wake up when you even pulled off my blanket, and you went like, 'Abby, 720 liao. what time you want to wake up?' and i actually answered, 'don't tell you.' ha. you get my picture lah huh. you enthu freak, keep the livewire in you going man. (:
Daphne.WALKING MACHINE. like Weirong, you're one hell of a lil tough girl too huh. even till now, i still catch myself laughing whenever i think of your back image when you carry your 11kg backpack that shoots way above your head, making you look headless with just your legs moving. hahahaa! it's still soo funny lah. if i could find a word that could describe someone's who's beyond cute, i would definitely use it for you without any doubt. you had been a great teamate. thanks for being my eyecandy! :D
(NAGA) Zaki.himbo's the word for you man. LOL. you pout way worse than a girl, i swear. and you are way more of a shopaholic compared to most typical girls,
i swear. i still remembered how you helped to piece the Nagazaki joke together when Kahchee mentioned it, and you said it sounded like we're gonna bomb you cos Nagazaki sounds like Zaki. HAHAHA. nice one there man.
did i tell you i'm like, soo addicted to your accent? it's like, so coool lah! i think you can tell can't you. LOL.
Nicholas Ng.big time joker. you and kahchee = nono. but too bad we got you two sitting together at the dinner table every evening; and you all come up with the craziest stuff like putting salt into Thong Kiat's water, and progressed to putting salt into the water jug so everyone will get a taste of it. LOL. pls don't go 'mine mine mine!' again when i ask who's gonna do lunch if we happen to go back to OPC after Os again. cos in the end, you're just gonna wake up late and go 'huh? i'm suppose to do lunch ah?' -.- but that's alright! cos i had fun making special orders for each of us in the team. teehe. thanks a bunch man, for everything. (:
Kahchee.another big time joker. you're the one that always comes up with the lamest logic; like having the remix version of the loser lamer talk to the hand thing. haa. sorry about the cut you have on your hand man. i'm sorry the blades of grass were so harsh to you. lol. it's funny how you can appreciate beetroot while the rest of us in the team hates it like fuck. well, i made the bread-beetroot-bread lunch specially for you, so say thank you! lala. i'm gona say thank you to you too, for leading the group through muddy tracks, informing us of Chocolate Puddings (mud) and the occasional Carwashes (grass that would hit your faces). haha. i miss the times now that i just think abt them.
Thong Kiat.you know what. before i came for this trip, i thought you were a cool guy - those macho big muscles cool guy. BOY WAS I WRONG. you're like just a super crazy playful asshole lah! you and your hyperactivity due to excessive sugar intake by my influence of massive intake of honey and suger every breakfast. you had been a great safety man for our mountaineering, you had been great fun; and thanks for that. you had also been a great entertainment when me, Jierong and Nicholas saw you sleeping that night in the motel. LOL. we've got pictures for evidence man. now that we can threaten you with that. LOL.
Junliang.the quiet yet hardworking one. you did alot for the group, always volunteering to do dishes, vacuuming and just.. chores. haha. don't think that you're not appreciated by any of us yeah! cos really, you mean alot to the group too - just like everyone of us. it takes 20 to make a group, and without one of us, we'll just be an imperfect group of nineteen. thanks for everything you've done!
Jacob and Calvin. you guys wouldn't be seeing this anyway - but i just want you all to know that you guys are so appreciated by the twenty of us. you helped us to learn more both physically and mentally in just a matter of 9 days. you made us think through what we did at the end for each day, and taught us to improve on our flaws. and of cos, you helped us capture sooo many candid moments on film and pictures. thank you so much for giving us the great time of our lives.
Miss Tan and Mr Singh. you guys were the one that fought so hard for the twenty of us to go to OPC. there's nothing much that i could say, except a apology to Mr Singh for bullying him too much probably. LOL. i hope you had fun playing games with us Miss Tan, you're way more than just what i thought of a Maths teacher. :D THANK YOU.
to Group One, i would always remember the emotional debrief we had on the last day.
a twine that can be so worthless could mean so much.it's been a long and wordy post. part two on OPC tomorrow yeah. it's just the end of the beginning ppl. (;
P.S: who's interested in taking a one star kayaking course with Nicholas and me next coming weekend?
